It's that time of year!

Yep, the days are getting warmer, the camp looks a little greener....summer is almost here!
The camp is loud with the sound of bulldozers, chainsaws, and hammers. We have had several workteams here already working on many projects to get ready for the summer. Two of the teams left this morning and the camp is really quiet (for now!). For 15 straight days we have had people out here working at the camp.....here are a few of the improvements they have made:

**The downstairs hallways in the lodge got a little touch up and some added design (and they finished the paint job all the way to the bathrooms).
**Speaking of bathrooms, both lodge bathrooms got a makeover (paintwise).
**The lodge ceiling was painted
**Hobart got a facelift!!!!!
** The hallway by the lodge offices was painted
**The beginning stages of giving the lodge a new paint job have been started
**The go-cart track was ripped out and a new one is being put in (won't be ready for this summer though)
**Two houses got new roofs
**Finished painting all the railings down at the horses
**Pinion Pine Golf course got a new paint job
**One team made 4 new 'box hockey' games (new this year!)
**Steve is putting in a new sling shot range
**The frisbee golf boxes got a new paint job
**The A-frame bathrooms got a top to bottom paint job
**New picnic tables and benches for the barn
**New curtains, mirrors, and lamps for the lodge dorm rooms

That's the bulk of it....
There were several cleaning projects that went on (mostly in the kitchen) and Bruce and his friend Marvin have been doing many electrical, plumbing and septic projects.

We are definitely in the "camp" frame of mind and are getting this place place ready to be flooded by many summer staff and campers. I hope you all will appreciate and enjoy the changes that are being made!
Can't wait to see you all soon!!!
